When the original Knack first came out, people were saying it was mediocre at best. The low-quality title shocked most players, especially knowing the successful development team that was working on the game. With some gameplay being shared for Knack 2, people seem like they might be changing their minds a little bit. Low expectations are slowly beginning to change as more is revealed, and people might eventually reach levels of excitement for the game's release.

While no release date has been given, the game is definitely showing signs of improvement and could be everything that the original wasn't. The stale combat, for example, has seen a complete overhaul and now it looks like the Knack 2's combat system will be a really fun experience. Now, players will be able to use combos, special moves, blocks, and dodges to dictate the pace of the combat. Shields will allow players to counterattack or bounce projectiles back at attackers, while new weapons will allow Knack to chain together new combinations. On top of that, players that fight in co-op mode will have even more combat options.

When fighting with a friend, you can create new special moves by working together. For example, Player 1 could use a move to punch Player 2 directly into an enemy. In the trailer below, you can see this move in action around the 50-second marker. The reveal trailer has been around for a while now, but it looks like people are really beginning to come around. If you haven't seen it yet, feel free to take a look down below and see what you think about the improvements made to the game so far!
