Okay Kingdom Hearts III, what news have you brought to the plate today?
Apparently Big Hero 6. Today, at the Disney D23 Expo, Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto has announced that Big Hero 6 will be a world exclusive to Kingdom Hearts III. In the upcoming title, the antagonists will be able to use the powers of the robot Baymax, but for what reason? Unfortunately, those details, alongside anything else, will be unveiled at a later time. So far, the new worlds that have been confirmed for KHIII are Tangled and Big Hero 6--what in particular are you looking forward to?
According to Tetsuya Nomura, he would like to include Marvel and Star Wars worlds in KHIII if Disney allows it. So perhaps we will at least see a Star Wars world? It has also been hinted that Frozen could make an appearance.
Which would be unsurprising, considering the massive popularity of the film.
Personally, I would love to see Toy Story, Up, or Brave as featured worlds. Nevertheless, here's the reveal trailer below--just don't expect actual gameplay footage:
