The 2013 reboot of the iconic fighting series, Killer Instinct, has finally made its way to Steam after being exclusively available on the Xbox One and Windows 10. Steam players will be at no disadvantage and will be able to obtain all of the post-launch DLC that was introduced into the game for Microsoft gamers.

Although a free version of the game can be picked up through the Microsoft platforms, the game will cost Steam players $39.99. This purchase gives you the game and all three seasons of content, which includes 29 characters, 20 stages, and all costume and color combinations. Since the game has just been released on Steam, you can pick it up right now for 25 percent off.

The final thing we need to note about this game's release on Steam is that fact that Microsoft has enabled cross-network play. If you're worried about picking it up on Steam because you think nobody else will buy it, don't fret! You can game with the Xbox One and Windows 10 players all day long. This is a big step for Microsoft, seeing as how they normally aren't too keen about cross-network capabilities in their games. By releasing this game on multiple platforms and allowing gamers to utilize cross-play, Microsoft is making some big steps in the right direction!
