Bandai Namco has announced another fighter due to appear in the upcoming anime fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ. This time it's the rubbery, pink antagonist, Kid Buu.

Bandai Namco released a character trailer on YouTube earlier today showing off the new fighter. Aside from a snippet of gameplay, little is actually seen about the character. Though at least he's confirmed to be part of the roster.

His inclusion was actually leaked prior in a Japanese magazine that displayed his details, as well as those of Adult Gohan and Gotenks. The magazine in question is as legitimate as they come regarding Japanese video games, so this announcement doesn't come to much surprise.

The magazine says that Kid Buu's special attack is called "Planet Burst," a move we see in action in the trailer.

Kid Buu may be my favorite fighter in this game. I always found his tactic of turning people into candy and eating them very bizarre and entertaining. It makes me extra happy to get to see that in game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26 in the US and Europe, and February 1 in Japan.
