Okay, before you scream in agony over my singing (like you could hear me sing...) or cry because it's too early for me to be singing any form of Christmas theme, I have a good reason for the above line.
That reason? Retro game Christmas goodies! Currently on Kickstarter, artist Matt "Retro Review" Heald has been hard at work over the "12 Games of Christmas" cards, and he is wanting to spread the joy of Christmas to gamers and families and friends of gamers worldwide.
With 12 days to go and with half the goal met, Matt invites you to help complete the campaign so he can send oodles of Christmas cards, sweaters, shifts, mobile ringtones and wallpapers, signed art prints, and much more.
But why has this project even been born?
Well, according to Matt:
"I wanted to bring retro gaming nostalgia to gamers everywhere and remind them of their favourite games that they received on Christmas day as a kid. Kickstarter seemed like the best possible place to reach hardcore gamers, to help me choose the designs to include in the range. I love the interaction of the followers on there."
So if you're interested in backing this beautiful Christmas set, then by all means, head to the official Kickstarter page here.
