Many games start with an idea, move to a Kickstarter campaign and that is there final resting place but once in a blue moon you get a real gem. Some of these gems even have the capability to raise over $500,000 during their campaign. 505 Games, the creators of Last Day of June, brought us one of these in the form of a JRPG called "Re: Legend" that is supposed to add a lot of twists to the popular genre. The game will come to early access on Steam for PC only in 2018 with plans for expanding to all major consoles sometime shortly after.
Re: Legend combines what most people know about JRPG's but adds a monster-raising, farming and multiplayer mechanic to it as well. Players will have the opportunity to expand their village with activities many people are familiar with such as farming, crafting and fishing. You will also be adventuring through the wilds finding the monsters to raise yourself known as Magnus and taming them to fight with you. Your character starts on the island of Vokka without memories and your tasked of creating a new life and to recover your lost memories. Not only do players fight in combat themselves with various weapons and abilities but you can even mount your trained Magnus to give yourself the upper hand.
GZU will make sure to post a release date as soon as it's announced, until then check out the trailer below.
