Back on March 30 of this year, Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV took place in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by experimental marketing agency, Kenwood Experiences in collaboration with Square Enix. The live event, set at the Shrine Auditorium, garnered a slew of attention across the globe. The event, livestreamed in three different languages, covered a truck load of new content and announces (as well as hype) about the upcoming Final Fantasy XV.

Even the image is made of pure hype

Some of the news revealed at Uncovered included information about a full CG film, anime series, mobile game, free demo, and multiple collector's editions of Final Fantasy XV. The game, set for release on September 30, had already been hyped from the images and videos Square Enix released before. This event helped to fuel the hype to new levels, reaching an audience of around 1.2 million people. Depending on how much success Square finds from this tactic, players may be seeing more of these events pop up every year. Regardless, I bet some publishers are keeping a business card for Kenwood Experiences, just in case.
