Just Cause 3 has a fan-made multiplayer mod that will be officially released on Steam July 20. It has been in beta since January and has been available to the public, but it seems as though the pre-release bugs have all been worked out and the mod is ready for action. It is far from a traditional multiplayer experience, allowing players to really make the world whatever they want it to be.

Its online servers can support hundreds of people, and while every player will look absolutely identical, you can have a lot of fun. Whether you want to engage in some aerial combat or setup an incredible racetrack for you and your buddies, you'll get the chance to do it.

Just Cause 2 also had a fan-made multiplayer mod, allowing 600 people on one single server. Avalanche Studios, the developers of Just Cause, were so pleased and impressed that they decided to hire the mod's lead architect. You can find the Just Cause 3 Steam page right here!
