Though many of us have known about this platformer-puzzle game for awhile, I still would love to take a moment to spread the word about Commander Cherry's arrival in Commander Cherry's Puzzled Journey!

To begin, there haven't been many games released for the Kinect, to the point that I've wondered if the Kinect is quietly being phased out. However, Commander Cherry plans to revive the spark of Kinect by invading the Xbox One.

So Commander Cherry sounds quirky and cute, doesn't he? Well the game appears to be a bit... odd to say the least, but in a good way. Created by Grande Games, based in Stuttgart, Germany, Commander Cherry's Puzzled Journey has been in development since 2013 but is finally set for release later this year.

"Puzzled Journey" requires the Xbox One's Kinect/PlayStation 4 Camera and the human body to perform Yoga-Actions to guide Commander Cherry through each level. In other words, get contorting, because not only will you be a bridge, but you are going to be Commander Cherry's savior! But how exactly would you help Commander Cherry?

Well, first of all, you will be controlling him.

Second of all, you also will be able to take a selfie with the camera so you can be Commander Cherry's faithful stepping stool!

To me, the game oddly bears the characteristics of the cutesy 'Tearaway' and the zany 'Katamari Damacy.'

I should really get a funny chicken costume to wear for this game, but then again, I should probably get a PS4 Camera or Kinect first.
