Mortal Kombat X has become very strange.

But in a good way. We have seen some interesting announcements for the upcoming brutal fighter, such as the tie-in with a mobile version and the announcement of Predator appearing in the rosters.

But the developers haven't stopped there. Oh no.

They have confirmed another familiar character that has somehow tripped and fell into the Mortal Kombat world. Introducing Jason Voorhees of the Friday the 13th series, hockey mask and all.

He will be available to anyone who purchases the Kombat Pack, which is available in the Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition, the Limited Edition, and the Premium Edition. However, the pack can also be purchased separately for a none-too-cheap price of $29.99. The pack will also include two "Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatatnts" and an additional guest character. The Samurai Pack will also be available, which includes three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok, and Jingu Kitana, which will be available at a later date.

Mortal Kombat X is scheduled for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One release on April 14th.

Wonder what Jason Vorhees' movesets and fatalities will be, but I am already placing bets on Jason's win in Predator vs. Jason.
