Well, this is a tad bit of a bummer. If you're a Westerner and a fan of color customization, then you may be a little disappointed to find that our Japanese friends will be able to pick and choose controller colors that come with the switch bundles.
Customers who preorder the Nintendo Switch console on the Japanese My Nintendo Store will have the opportunity to customize controller colors.
Okay, so you won't be able to choose whatever color you'd like, but you can choose between red, blue, gray, and black for both the left and right Joy-Con controllers. But the colors could certainly expand in the future.
If you're considering importing, you should be aware that you need a Japanese Nintendo account.
