The full lineup is now available for PlayStation Plus free games, and for the month of January, we're going to be seeing at least one interesting and critically acclaimed game: Grim Fandango Remastered. As for the others, I'm unsure of how to feel...
First of all, PlayStation 4's Hardware: Rivals, which has been available as a beta to PS Plus members earlier in October, is going to be free on PS Plus for the month of January. Personally, I didn't see the appeal of this game, but I'm hoping others do. The controls just feel generally uncomfortable for me.
Next on the PlayStation 4 lineup is Grim Fandango Remastered, which is amazing. I played some of a friend's copy before and since then I've been wanting a copy of my own. The puzzles, the voice acting, the humor... well, there's a reason why it scored so high.
As for PlayStation 3, Dragon Age: Origins, the first game in the entire franchise, is for free, meaning if you somehow have been interested for the past six year yet didn't want to purchase it in that timespan, you'll be able to finally give it a shot.
Medal of Honor Warfighter is the second PlayStation 3 title, which released three years ago. Not sure why this is included, considering its average Metacritic score of three out of five.
As for the PlayStation Vita, we still have Grim Fandango Remastered if you'd prefer to take that on the go, but there's also Legends of War Patton, which is some History Channel-licensed game that pits you in the role of General Patton as he commands his Third Army in the midst of World War II. Finally, there's Nihilumbra for the Vita, which is an indie puzzle platformer, which scored okay on Metacritic.
You can check out the video if you'd like, but it should be noted that 2/3rds of the votes on the video are dislikes.
