James Varga Sues Twitch for Banning him in 2016

I do not think highly of this man.

If you think this is going to be an unbiased report, the next sentence will probably be very alarming.

Human trash bag James “PhantomL0rd” Varga was banned from streaming service Twitch back in July 2016 when it was discovered that he had owned the CS:GO skin gambling site he’d been promoting heavily in his stream, was playing with “in-house” money, and never, ever, ever disclosed that fact to the public, which was a violation of FTC regulation and Valve’s and Twitch’s terms of service.

And now, because there is literally no depth he will not sink to, Mr. Varga is suing Twitch for “improperly suspending his account and terminating his contract without explaining why.”

"It is clear from Twitch's conduct that the stated bases for suspension and termination were an effort to deflect negative press and scapegoat Varga, allowing Twitch to publicly decry alleged gambling conduct and divert attention from the fact that Twitch continued to knowingly allow such conduct to continue on other Twitch channels,"

Varga claims that he wasn’t told why he was suspended until five months after it happened; apparently, he had been told the problem was fake subscribers, but then was later told that the real problem was the non-gaming content he streamed, which included the CS:GO skin gambling—despite his claims that he was told he could do that by a Twitch employee.

The lawsuit is based on “significant financial and reputational harm,” and is seeking general, special, and exemplary damages, interest, legal fees, and “whatever else the court deems appropriate.” Because again, this man is a human poop knife.

Needless to say, I will be rooting strongly for Twitch in this case, because every ill-gotten penny this man earns through his lies and deception is two pennies too much. Here’s hoping for justice when the lawsuit is over.
