If you're looking to game with the iPhone X (pronounced "ten") and haven't snagged a pre-order today, then you may be looking at some unfortunate news. The extremely popular device sold out within minutes when it went on sale Friday, October 27, 2017 at precisely 12:01 a.m. PT. Those that managed to pre-order early will see a shipping date of November 3, the day the iPhone X releases.
Then again, the iPhone X is touted as a reinvention of the iPhone series. Apple no longer has equipped the Touch ID home button and instead implemented the new Face ID facial recognition. Not only that, but the device now sports an OLED screen that stretches across the phone - similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8.
If you haven't pre-ordered one and are considering snagging one of these babies, the $999 (for the 64GB model, anyway, though the 256GB model will cost you $1,149) device will not ship for another two to three weeks, or even months at this point.
Seems as if Apple has underestimated demand for the tech, which sports the impressively fast Apple A11 processor. So if you want to look forward to some advances in mobile gaming and don't own an iPhone X yet, you'll probably have to wait a little longer. But, I'm sure it will be worth it.
