Whether youre a Hitman veteran or someone new to the series, developers IO Interactive is making it even more tempting to invest in their latest stealth game. Introducing the Hitman 3 Starter Pack.

At first glance, youd think that the Starter Pack is essentially a demo for the main Hitman 3 game. And to be fair, thats partially what it is. Free to play, it allows players to test out the opening ICA Facility tutorial missions. This way, they can get a feel for the game before buying it.

Lets step it up a notch, though. Every so often, the Starter Pack will also gain access to full levels from the various Hitman games. To start it off, from now until April 5, Starter Pack players can access the Dubai level from Hitman 3, and the Nightfall mission from Hitman 2. These levels will also be available to people that own the full Hitman 3 game, as well.

Heres the real kicker, though. If you own Hitman 2, you can import all of their existing levels into the Hitman 3 Starter Pack game, allowing them to essentially play all of Hitman 1 and 2 within the Hitman 3 engine without having to purchase the game. Aside from the graphical improvements it provides, itll also include the new Camera item.

This is arguably the best way a company can promote an existing game that weve seen. It offers enough content for those new to the games to give it a try if they're interested, and incentives people with the previous games to upgrade by offering their existing games in a newer engine.

The Hitman 3 Starter Pack is available now on PC and consoles. More information about it can be found on the official website.
