Are you a GWENT player growing tired of the normal humdrum of gameplay? Do you want to battle with unrestricted decks and face off against Gaunter O'Dimm, the Man of Glass? Now you can in GWENT's Arena Mode.

CD Projekt Red announced a new game mode for their Witcher card game. This mode, costing 150 ore (or $2) to enter, has the player draft together a spur-of-the-moment deck in place of their normal build. They then use this deck to compete in an arena, which ends either by winning nine matches or losing three times. Should you successfully defeat all nine challengers, you'll be rewarded with a random premium Legendary card.

Since you're just throwing a deck together at the start, CD Projekt Red has suggested focusing on singular good cards and not be too concerned with trying to create a strategically advantageous deck.

This new mode isn't available just yet, but it's "coming soon." The community has been asking for a draft mode for a long time now, but they'll have to wait a little longer while they iron out the kinks. You can see the live stream showing off the new mode here.
