Ben Ben Hones, the Development Director of Fugitive Games had this to saying when discussing the game;
"Into the Stars has used the Early Access process to the fullest, leveraging community feedback and numerous updates to fine tune the gameplay experience. With a massive, vibrant universe to explore, Into The Stars provides players with hours of discoverability. Each time someone plays, their strategy skills will be tested by facing incredible obstacles and unique situations from the surface of foreign planets to the hulls of derelict ships."
With all of that said, here's a pretty cool Cinematic trailer to get a feel for the game;
Into the Stars opens with new missions, updated content, exploration mode, Steam achievements, trading cars and is debuting in a variety of languages including German, Spanish, Italian, French, Russian and Polish.
The game can be had for a pretty good price of $17.99 on the Steam Store. There's also a Digital Deluxe Version for $36.99 which includes the following additional features;
- An Original Soundtrack, by legendary composer Jack Wall
- A Digital copy of Developers Artbook
- A Handy Star map
- An Exclusive collection of game wallpapers
Into the Stars has collected some pretty good recognition such as receiving the Best-in-Play award at the 2015 Game Developers Conference last year. Be sure to check out their official Into the Stars web site for more information and screens. So I would say it is worth checking out.
