Insomniac Games Speaks Out Against Trump Immigration Ban

It's an inspiring video.

Insomniac Games won my heart back in 2002 with the release of Ratchet and Clank. Since then, the company has built a reputation as being a heavy hitter in the AAA video game front. Now, Insomniac Games has made it in the news for another reason. Earlier today, the official Insomniac Games channel on YouTube posted a video addressing President Trump's recent immigration ban in the United States. CEO and Founder Ted Price stands along with his staff of multicultural game designers to speak out against the controversial ban. He then takes a moment to urge everyone to stand up and make a difference by calling their representatives.

Check out the full video below.

The inspirational video comes during an uncertain and tense political climate in the United States. Donald Trump's latest move to ban immigrants from select Middle Eastern countries (at least ones he doesn't have money ties with) has caused pain and strife in the short time it's been enforced. The move caused protests in airports across the nation where incoming passengers were detained simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Ted Price puts it best in the video. "Is this the American way? Is discriminating based on religious faith or national origin American? Absolutely not." If you find yourself in opposition with the immigration ban or any of President Trump's other policies, then I encourage you to contact your representatives and senators to express your ideas. Their jobs are to represent you. Make your voice be heard. You can find everything you need on the official sites for the House of Representatives and the Senate.
