There was a very clear moment for small indie games on Xbox Live when the potential of that business model was finally realized- that was when Braid and LIMBO were released. Now 4 years later we have The Witness coming to PS4 and INSIDE coming to Xbox One... each respectively made by the creators of those two landmark games.
While being shown at Microsoft's press conference, it was unsure if Playdead's new game was in any way a sequel to LIMBO... and that is still unknown, The game certainly plays similarly, but with a different aesthetic- using color this time. The game will be on Xbox One early next year as a timed exclusive, then expect to see it on other platforms after that.
