Injustice 2 is a fighting game created by NetherRealm Studios that features all of your favorite heroes and villains. Lately the developers have been releasing new fighters and showing off their movesets for fans of the series. The first Injustice was a big hit (fighting pun intended) and people really enjoyed playing it. The game is extremely similar to Mortal Kombat, which is to be expected as almost all fighting games are nearly identical.

Scarecrow was just recently showcased and you can watch his trailer down below. When I was watching through the first time, right off the bat I thought about Scorpion. Being a huge Mortal Kombat fan and a Scorpion main, I easily picked up on the similarities. For one, Scorpion has a skill that allows him to jump behind the enemy in an attempt to land a hit from behind. You can see Scarecrow do this exact move 32 seconds into the video.

Another thing that caught my eyes was the use of Scarecrow's hook. The well-known Get over here! callout is shouted by Scorpion when he is able to land his hook and pull somebody close to him. Now that is purely coincidental and Scarecrow is allowed to use a hook for combat, but I just wanted to point it out.
