The all powerful Inferno is returning to the Soul Calibur series as a playable character and we couldn't be more excited about it. He has been locked in the vault since Soul Calibur III: Arcade Edition and now we finally get him back in all his glory. The original owner of Soul Edge is coming to strike down any opposing force who challenges him!

Since he is the living embodiment of Soul Edge he comes with powers that none of the other characters could even begin to understand. Inferno has ancient knowledge of combat that extend far beyond the reach of a mortal man. Inferno is and forever will be the most skilled and knowledgeable of all the vessels of Soul Edge.

Soul Calibur VI is launching on October 19th, 2018. A risky launch date for any game surrounded by some heavy hitters but with any major fighting franchise the fans will be coming in full force. Take a look at the reveal trailer for Inferno below.
