To play a Slice-of-Life game can be a bit surreal, but to play a Slice-of-Life story with virtual-reality support can be absolutely stunning and mind-exploding. Plugged, an immersive, decision-based game by Endtimes Studio, has recently been Greenlit on Steam, but the developers now ask for your support via Kickstarter.

A bit more about Plugged:

Plugged is a "look-and-click" adventure, built with Unreal Engine 4, that allows players to make different choices to experience altered realities. Thus, you'll want to play through the game multiple times to see all that it has to offer. As for the storyline, Plugged begins with the player having to decide whether or not they have to go to a job interview (with the loving support of your wife), or go to a hotel to have an affair with a high school sweetheart.

And that's just the beginning.

You will see how your life is affected with each decision, but you will also face puzzles that will leave you mind-boggled throughout the entire game.

The game will support Oculus Rift, which will provide an unforgettable immersive experience.

Here are the key features of Plugged:
  • Decision-based narrative that generates many different stories and endings
  • Interactive environment (when testing out the short-lived demo, I admit to smashing every dish possible)
  • Best experienced with Oculus Rift
  • Highly atmospheric game with surreal setting
Look forward to this game, because it has strong potential. Seriously, I can't wait to get my grubby paws on it. If you would like to make a pledge on Kickstarter, you can find Endtimes Studio's campaign page.

With 30 days to go, there are already 33 backers with $2,111 pledged of a $30,375 goal. So let's help them finish their game!
