So yeah. Religion and games? Not a great mix. But sometimes, bad mixing can lead to something explosive, because over the weekend, the internet collectively blew up over this fake-as-hell trailer.
How do I know it’s fake?
Well, for one, there’s not even a link to the game in the video’s description. For two, the fact that they tried to dress up a clearly pre-made cinematic with a bare-bones UI, which is the kind of crap you usually only see in fake games or fake game trailers, and for three, this is how it’s described on Steam:
“I am Jesus Christ" is a realistic simulator game inspired by stories from the New Testament of the Bible. Get into old times and follow the same path of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago. Game is covering the period from Baptizing of Jesus Christ and to Resurrection. Have you ever wondered to be like Him - one of the most privileged and powerful people in the world?
Yeah. That seems legit.
I won’t be keeping an eye on this game because it doesn’t exist and I don’t know why this trailer does either.
