Sick of zombies yet? If you're--somehow--craving for more zombie action, you should take a look at How to Survive's upcoming sequel, How to Survive 2. Developed by EKO Software as a result of popular demand, the second title aims to follow in its predecessor's footsteps of being a fan favorite.
If you're expecting gameplay duller than the original How to Survive, then you will be pleased to be proven wrong--How to Survive 2 includes everything fans know and love about the original title but with updated graphics, advanced gameplay, and hundreds of crafting tools. Just like before, the aim of the game is to survive by fulfilling your basic needs, such as food, water and shelter, through the utilization of hand-crafted tools and weapons within the eerie French Quarter and the Louisiana bayou.
The story? Well, simply put, How to Survive 2 takes place several months after the epidemic of Los Riscos' archipelago. Like many zombie sequels, the infection breaks out from smaller areas and spread to become a worldwide pandemic. From that point onward, it's all about survival--even if for one more day. Your journey begins in Louisiana with simple tools and a safe camp.
What mainly differs between the sequel and the original is the scope of multiplayer. Whereas only two players could play How to Survive, four players can join forces to survive and up to 16 players will be able to access your camp in How to Survive 2. You will also be able to create, customize, and improve your character and tinker with the enhanced crafting system to build weapons and tools capable of protecting yourself from the onslaught of zombies.
You do not have to wait too long for How to Survive 2, as it will be available on Steam's Early Access program in October of this year. Now, because this is essential to state: Do you know "how to survive 2?"
Yes, I went there.
