From August 12 until August 16, a Back 4 Blood Open Beta will be available for players on both PC and console. This is free to play and available to everyone. This is in contrast to last week, where only folks who pre-ordered could play the open beta.
How to Access the Open Beta
Since its available to the public, accessing the beta is fairly easy. First, visit THIS PAGE HERE. Thats the official Back 4 Blood beta page. Once there, select the platform you intend to play on from the list at the bottom of the page. For consoles, youll be directed to the store page for a Beta game that is free. For PC, however, youll be directed to the main game store page. At the time of writing this, Steam does not have a beta option available, but this should change by the date of the beta itself.
Once you have the game in your library, its simply a matter of waiting until the start date. The beta starts on August 12 at Noon PST and lasts until August 16 at Noon PST. Be prepared for some trouble getting in within the first few hours, however. The game servers will likely be experiencing heavy traffic from everyone trying to play at once.
