Match-3 games are everywhere, littering mobile stores, consoles, handhelds, and desktops... especially mobile stores. Even more so, all Match-3 games are wrapped in themes, whether in jewels, candy, or cookies. Sometimes these types of games add an additional layer of roleplaying mechanics.

Hoshi Eleven - Top Soccer RPG is one of those types of games that carry that form of complexity within a Match-3 package. Developed by Genera Games--known for Frozen Free Fall, Ramboat, and Star Trek: Wrath of Gems--Hoshi Eleven revolves around a soccer match. Players need to combine gems in order to form the best plays, defense strategies, passes, and scores. Hoshi features a colorful cast of manga characters that must act as a cohesive unit while utilizing their unique abilities in order to come out as the champion of all time.

Hoshi Eleven - Top Soccer RPG will be available worldwide for iOS and Android on October 15. So if you're a fan of casual Match-3 games and soccer, this may be worth a look then.
