Horror game Alan wake is a very popular title, and it will be gone from Steam and Xbox Live after May 15. Why? Because David Bowie... well partially.

Yes.

Developer Remedy revealed this news on its forums, also stating that there will be a "Sunset Sale" to help Alan Wake go out with a bang... well for Steam only.

So why is it leaving stores? In reality, it's because of expiring licenses for the music that is included in Alan Wake's adventures.

"Space Oddity" by David Bowie and "The Darkest Star" by Depeche Mode are two such songs that are included. The takedown will not affect Alan Wake's American Nightmare, however.

So look for the sale if you haven't had a chance to play it. I know I will be.
