Video games are normally a fun way to indulge, bond, and pass time with, but sometimes they can fuel negativity of personal lives. Several horrified motorists witnessed the death of a man on a street in West Dallas, Texas. Hugo Rodriguez, 35, committed suicide by attaching a rope between a fire hydrant and his neck before accelerating a van forward, which resulted in the rope tugging at his neck, leading to decapitation. Before the nightmarish scene, he painted a message on the van, with the first two words being "no code," in Spanish, and the second line being "Codbo."
Both lines could potentially be references to "Call of Duty: Black Ops." According to witness reports, Rodriguez simply stepped into the van and pressed on the throttle after tying a rope around his neck. His body was thrown out of the vehicle, which then landed onto the street. It was noted that his body was not removed for a few hours, even as the police cleaned up the incident. Also fortunately, the van did not hit anyone when it slowed to a stop. Rodriguez's records previously indicated that he was arrested for driving while being intoxicated. Though Rodriguez may have had some ties to Call of Duty: Black Ops, the game couldn't be ruled as the sole issue to the suicide. It could be very well possible the man suffered from a history of clinical depression or another type of illness.
