Horizon: Zero Dawn Sells 2.6 Million Copies within First 2 Weeks

That's great especially when you factor in the Switch launch.

Within just a couple of weeks, Horizon: Zero Dawn managed to achieve what I'd like to call a success. Though the PlayStation 4-exclusive came out just a few days before the Nintendo Switch and its system seller - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - it managed to sell a whopping 2.6 million units worldwide.

In other words, this dinosaur-hunting RPG (that reminds me oh-so-much of Zoids) became the best game debut in Guerrilla Games' history. I can see why, consider it has done so well in a variety of areas - especially the story. My goodness, the story.

I'm just happy it was a success despite contending with one of the biggest IPs in video game history. Good job, Guerrilla Games. Good job.

Currently, Horizon: Zero Dawn is available for the PlayStation 4.

Who knows, it could very well see the light of the PC, but probably only with PlayStation Now's service.
