Horizon Zero Dawn just got a little bit easier for the sake of the more story focused players who would enjoy the game much better if they didn't have to worry as much about combat and survival. It can be a little hard to get immersed into the story of a game if you're constantly dying without progress.
Patch 1.30 earlier this month introduced "Ultra Hard" mode, which as you can imagine, offers players the ability to fight against more powerful and more intelligent enemies. Now, with patch 1.32, players will have the option of an easier "story mode" if they wish to solely focus on the story. Not every person is capable of achieving success in a stealth-based, open-world game such as Horizon Zero Dawn, and now, players have more choices when it comes to their gameplay experience.
The new difficulty, rightly named "Story Mode", boosts the player-inflicted damage and reduces the player-received damage considerably, making the combat encounters manageable for less experienced players, Along with this new Story Mode, patch 1.32 also fixes a number of bugs and glitches that still plagued the game.
