Hitman Releases a 360 Degree Trailer

It's a trailer with a right analog stick.

Video games are often on the cutting edge of technology. Improved graphics and gameplay sell better than the alternative. But it goes beyond that. Even advertising takes advantage of new tech. Take viral marketing on social media platforms. Plenty of games have only succeeded due to brilliant use of social media. It is awkward to think that a video game company would use 360 degree trailers to advertise, though. However, that's exactly what Hitman has done.

You gotta click those little arrows.

There's probably actually nothing wrong with this, but I'm missing the point here. Given, that may be because I stupidly started flailing my tablet about in the middle of a coffee shop the first time I watched it. It was only afterwards that I realized I was supposed to click the little arrows. But also, isn't this basically just 1/8 of a game demo? They may as well have released a demo that disables everything except the right analog stick. Who knows, though? I could be totally in the wrong. Maybe everyone will love this kind of thing, Hitman will be a hit, and we'll see more of it. I doubt it, but it could happen.
