Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding Release Date Leak

It seems as though the release date for Death Stranding might have accidentally been leaked. Right now, the game has no official release date and Kojima has been quiet about when the game should be coming out. I found the game today on Walmart's website, and right beside the pre-order button, there is a small popup window saying that the game will ship on December 29th. If you look at the header image, I was able to crop the Walmart page down to show Death Stranding and the potentially leaked release date. It also says you can pay for 2-day shipping, which would get Death Stranding to you by January 4th.

Obviously, the 2-day shipping has to take into consideration New Year's Eve and Day where many things are closed, so this would be pretty accurate. I'm pretty shocked, seeing as how I didn't think this game would be out for a long time. At the same time, it doesn't say anything about 2017. Perhaps it will be ready to ship on December 29th of 2018? There isn't anything concrete here, but it's definitely enough to get people scratching their heads about the actual Death Stranding release date. We'll just have to see what the future brings for this one!
