by But even without CD Projekt Red's not-so-magnum-opus out of the running, the results shouldn't surprise you: the big winner this year was Naughty Dog's depressing, emotionally dead, and morally bankrupt sequel, The Last of Us 2. And in case you haven't picked up on it, I'm a smidge bitter about it?
I mean, Hades was right there. It was in the running. But since it wasn't pretentious enough and it actually tackled subjects that were relevant to the year and not a broad shotgun blast of "angst", I guess the judges didn't think it was "mature" enough or whatever.
