Hellboy To Join The Injustice 2 Fighter Roster

From the depth of hell comes the most recent addition to the Injustice 2 roster, Hellboy. The horned hunter of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense was given an official release trailer on the Injustice YouTube page.

Most people know about Hellboy from the 2004 film directed by Guillermo del Toro. He has been making a resurgence in popular culture with not only the inclusion to the Injustice 2 roster but also with an upcoming reboot movie. Fans are much less enthusiastic about the character's addition to the game, however.

The new design for Hellboy gives him a more cartoon-styled look compared to the other's with a more gritty and realistic design, though that's not what people are bothered by. Hellboy's signature right hand, made of stone can be seen "swapping" hands throughout the game's fights. This is presumably due to the common trait of fighting games keeping the player's weapon on the side the player can see, but when it conflicts with the anatomy of a demon guy, people get upset.

While people complain online, this is unlikely to deter too many sales of the upcoming DLC pack of fighters for Injustice 2. For players who have early access, you can unlock Hellboy on November 14. You can see the trailer for yourself below.
