Happy New Year from GamerzUnite!

Happy New Year! 2016 has wrapped up, and it's time to move on to new things. So all of us here at GamerzUnite wish all of you a fantastic New Year. Of course, 2016 has a pretty horrible reputation. Every inch of social media is covered with hate for the year that took away tons of beloved celebrities and brought us President-Elect Trump. From the surface, it definitely looks like we've had one Hell of a rotten year. However, it wasn't all bad, especially for gamers. Regardless of what else the year brought us, we got our hands on some pretty great games.



First of all, we got some top notch sequels in the form of Dishonored 2, Pokemon Sun and Moon, XCOM 2, Final Fantasy XV, and Uncharted 4. There were also plenty of great new franchises as well. I'm mostly talking about Overwatch and The Last Guardian. The indie scene also had a few gems as well with Heart&Slash, Stardew Valley, and Inside. To be honest, I'm only scratching the surface here.

So while you may not 2016 was exactly the best year of your life, it did bring us quite a few hits. Great games for everybody have come out over the past 12 months. And if that's any indication of things to come, then 2017 may have some great titles coming up as well. It's all about the silver linings. If the year itself ends up sucking again, you always have video games.
