Don't worry Halo fans, your TV show is still happenin', despite being announced over two years ago.

Steven Spielberg's Halo TV Show is very much alive and currently in "very active development," according to Showtime president David Nevins when speaking with IGN. Last we knew about the show, back in May 2014, Microsoft was in "deep negotiations" with Showtime. Since then, the negotiations have been successful, and the live action show is on its way.

Unfortunately, there are no further details about the show, and there won't be anytime soon. Originally the show was to release sometime in the next couple of months to coincide the release of Halo 5: Guardians. Oh well, at least we have Halo: The Fall of Reach to look forward to this fall. Hopefully that will satiate us until we get a bit more info-like the story-for the TV show.
