On Tuesday, Halo 5's free DLC, "Hog Wild," launched along with a trailer. Revealing details with high-octane gameplay, the trailer shows viewers what the updates look like in action. This new DLC offers new aesthetic as well as functional additions. While the new features branch off into other aspects of the game, the highlight is, of course, on the new versions of the most classic and vanilla vehicle in the game franchise: the Warthog.

For those of you incapable or unwilling to watch a minute-long bullet-fest, the video dramatically reveals four new Warthogs with fancy paint jobs. These are confirmed to be the Rally, Rally Scout, Sword Needler, and Vespin Rocket models. They look as flashy and exciting as they sound. While the former three were shown in all of their glory and functionality, 343i seemed to want the players to experience the Vespin Rocket firsthand in the game instead of showing it in action in the trailer. All we get with the video is a close up shot of what we're missing, most likely to leave players curious to see more.

Vehicle skins and rockets aren't the only additions with the launch. The Stinger and Rictus armor skins have joined the fight as well. However, one of the most curious additions is the hybrid weapon scope. The trailer itself leaves much to the imagination, but it seems the scope has a place on everyone's favorite abbreviations: SMG, AR, BR, and DMR. All of these and more are available now to anyone with an Xbox One and a copy of Halo 5: Guardians. The only thing left to do now is hop in and take a closer look.
