Gravity Rush was such a fun debut title for the PlayStation Vita. A fun, French-inspired soundtrack, a sweet story, and unique gameplay made this a niche buy. That being said, the game wasn't without its flaws. The game felt too sharply cut off at the end and left open a ton of plot holes, the gameplay felt clunky at times, and the camera wasn't always fond of you. But despite the flaws, the game still planted a memory in players' minds. Of course, fans wanted more. They wanted the plot holes filled and questions answered.
This may happen soon, as not only the PlayStation 4 port of Gravity Rush (Gravity Daze in Japan) will be leaping onto consoles this winter, but the sequel of the game, Gravity Rush 2, will be heading exclusively to the PlayStation 4 in 2016.
The remaster of the original will be heading to Japan December 10, jumping onto North American platforms February 9, 2016, and landing on European consoles February 10, 2016.
Japan will also be receiving a collector's edition, which will include a Kat and her cat figurine, and a special box. Still a little sad that the game won't make it to the Vita this time around.
