Gravity Rush 2 is due to come out soon next month, January 17th, for the PS4, which is interesting as it was originally a PS Vita exclusive. The transition from mobile game to console game is bound to mean that some players are going to be left in the dark: After all, for however acclaimed the first game may have been, there simply aren't as many Vita fans as here are PS4 owners.
But apparently, even if you have played the first game (or read the plot summery on Wikipedia, whichever grabs your goat), then the sequel might not make complete sense to you. So, to help cover the events between the first and second game, a mini-anime, called Gravity Rush the Animation ~Overture~, was released in Japan, a 17 long minute show that fills people in and gets them sufficiently hyped for the release of the second game.
Well, it was exclusively in Japan for a while, so unless you could speak the language, you wouldn't get much out of it other than some pretty animation and girls in tights. But now, Sony has released the shorts on their youtube channel, with full English subs. Check it out:
And here's part 2:
Maybe not as fancy as Kingsglave, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper.
