It bears the same content as the closed beta, in case you're curious.

Grand Kingdom is the first NIS game in awhile that is being hyped to moderate amounts. By that, I mean ads have been floating around, beta codes have been churning out, and now, a LiteDEMO is being introduced to the masses, which bears the same amount of content as the closed beta.

Yes, that means people can play Grand Kingdom for free on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita, beginning June 7, 2016 in North America and June 8, 2016 in Europe.

Here is what the demo will entail:

You'll be able to play through Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of the Campaign Quest (which is fun, mind you).

You'll be able to participate in one War per day, whether via invasion or defense battle. Wars can only be attempted after completed Chapter 2 of the campaign.

You'll receive access to the following four classes:
  • Fighter
  • Hunter
  • Witch
  • Medic
You'll be able to formulate a contract with any of the Four Great Nations.

You'll be able to hire up to 10 units and establish one troop.

Finally, you'll be able to access the following facilities:
  • Available to use Blacksmith
  • Trading Post
  • National Shop
So if you've been curious about this turn-based RPG, then please, by all means download Grand Kingdom and give it a try on June 7, 2016! From what I've noted during the closed beta, the game's dialogue comes off as a little cheesy, but the gameplay is definitely where it's at. Definitely a strategic title worth the money.
