That is not a typo.

GOG is quite the popular Steam alternative, able to rake in lots of revenue thanks to its DRM-free approaches. Unfortunately, there are plenty of people out there who aren't knowledgeable of DRM and why it can be a bit of a pain (okay, a lot of a pain). Well, today, GOG decided to take matters into their own hands and has launched the FCK DRM Initiative, which aims to educate people on the issues of DRM, such as how it influences your games and other media and what the benefits are with DRM-free.

After all, DRM is a system that continues to plague us - after all, you never know when you are blocked from accessing your games. After all, there are instances, such as with the Nintendo Wii Shop channel, which will close next year, blocking access to game downloads. Furthermore, Wii games are restricted to not your account but instead your Wii, so if your Wii dies, the games go with them (though you can play them offline).

So yeah, if you wish to learn more, you can head on over to the FCK DRM site.
