Anyone sad enough to be familiar with my work and articles would know that I'm a huge fan of GoG and their well-deserved reputation for customer service, quality games, and their much-needed business practice of both selling new games and preserving the classics of our culture. So, I'm always happy to report news regarding Steams #1 competitor... Happier when that report can mean free games for you!
Like Steam, GoG has a suite of seasonal sales, and today the Fall Sale has officially started! That means over the next week, over 700 titles will be on sale for upwards of 90% off!
But wait, there's more: because this is a seasonal sale, there will also be flash sales, and the first few are a doozy. Namely, ten Dungeon and Dragon classic PC games (Balder's Gate, Torment, Neverwinter Nights, and more) are all bundled together, an $80 value, currently selling for $21. This deal only lasts for 18 hours, so grab it fast!
But even if you don't have the money to even afford these deals, that's fine: because for the first two days of the sale, you can get both Mount and Blade as well as The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings for free. Just go online, sign up, and both games can be yours without costing you a dime. Not a bad deal, eh?
Anyway. That's pretty much it: week's worth of good games going on sale over at GoG. It would be even better if they were paying me to write this, but hey, I'm not above doing free advertising.
