Sometime last year, I decided to dive into a Humble Monthly subscription. The service only costs $12 every month and guarantees at least a half dozen games every thirty days. However, that wasn't what finally sold me on giving it a shot. What did the trick was that they were offering Rocket League as my first free game for signing up right away. That was a fantastic deal! $12 got me Rocket League as well as 5 or so mystery games. If I wasn't interested in the service anymore, I knew I could just cancel, and that would be the end of it. Who could turn that down?
Humble Monthly's current deal, however, aims to blow that original offer out of the water. Instead of a kickass indie game like Rocket League or ARK: Survival Evolved (which I also got from my subscription), they are offering something a bit more AAA. New members to the Humble Monthly game will be treated to a free copy of XCOM 2 from the get go. That means, for $12, you can get your hands on XCOM 2 PLUS a handful of other games. Seeing as how the alien-invasion-strategy game STILL retails at $59.99, there will literally never be a better deal outside of the Pirate Bay.
If you have had even the slightest urge to see what the XCOM series is all about, I strongly suggest you take up Humble's offer. I doubt you'll regret it. If you're interested, you can find the deal on the Humble Monthly site here.
