Next year is 2016, so you know what that means, don'tcha?

No, it doesn't mean attempting to live up to your New Year's resolution. Instead, it means QuakeCon 2016!

"A little early to be thinking ahead," you could be wondering, but you're wrong. It's not early enough! QuakeCon 2015 has been its biggest year yet as many swarmed to the BYOC tables, met big-name developers, participated in tabletop gaming, checked out the newest and upcoming games, and of course, spectated or taken part in game tournaments.

Well, next year it's expected to be even bigger. QuakeCon 2016 now has a launch date, which is the latest in quite a long while. The con takes place August 4, 2016 and it will last until August 7, 2016 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.

So no, the location hasn't changed, no worries there. If you want to plan far ahead, you can always make reservations now at the Hilton Anatole Hotel by calling 1-800-445-8667, or you can head to the website.

For now, there's a special room rate of $169 per night. Of course, it's less than a year away, but better to plan ahead than not at all, right?

We will be updating you along the way for sure.
