You know what's awesome? When a video game becomes recognized outside of its medium. Pour example, consider the play productions of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Dear Esther. But there's a step beyond embedding video games within a stage play - that happens to be slapping video games onto stamps. And one game has managed to achieve just that - The Witcher.

You see, the world hasn't exactly recognized video game subjects as official stamps until now. But in all honesty, it's limited to Poland. And yes, The Witcher has rightfully earned a place onto Poland's postal stamps, due to its hefty influence as not only a video game series but also as novels.

This news is according to the lead designer on Gwent, via Twitter.

Sadly, the stamp, which contains Geralt's image, will be only available as a limited run of only 180,000. But for collectors, it may be wise to nab them now, either through Polish post offices or on eBay.
