Online game retailer, Games Republic, has started its annual summer sale. This digital store, run by 11 bit studios, is offering discounts of up to 90%. They are following a similar style to the way Steam used to, having different sales cycle constantly until the end of the sale in 10 days. These game range across the board, from AAA to indie titles.

We can never know for sure if the timing of this sale has anything to do with Steam's sale happening later this month. Regardless, Games Republic launching their sale first gives them a chance to get some sales in before everyone flocks to the Steam sale. As further incentive to give them a shot, Games Republic is offering the game Anomaly: Warzone Earth for free for any brand new customers. So before the Steam summer sale drains your wallet, maybe check out Games Republic and see what they have to offer. Just make sure to swing by sometime before Monday, June 27.
