Yesterday was a sad day for the classic (is it technically classic, having released just a few years ago?) Forza Horizon 2. Brian Ekberg posted on the Forza Motorsport blog, "Forza Week in Review 8-17-18" (all the way on the bottom, might I add), that the arcade exploration racing title will be delisted as of September 30, having reached "end of life" status.

Well, this explains why it is free during this month's Games With Gold.

So the game and its assortment of fantastic DLC will no longer be available to download. Fortunately, for owners of the title, you can still download and play the game and its DLC like normally.

Still, it is a sad day to see Forza Horizon 2 to reach "end of life." Now I have to wonder when Forza Horizon 3 will reach the same point.

But then again, there is always the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 to dabble around in. Forza Horizon 2 is exclusive to the Xbox One.
