Season 4 of Fortnite has arrived, bringing new content for both Save the World and Battle Royale. The season's launch has even brought about the conclusion of the strange comet in the sky, which seems to be the driving motivation for this season.

Epic Games released a trailer announcing the season's beginning. On it, we see a player hailed down by comets. The meteor shower taking place destroys the area. Upon inspection of the large meteorite, it begins to crack before the video cuts away.

Should the player explore the in-game map, they will find that Dusty Depot has been destroyed and renamed to Dusty Divot. Small craters found around the entire map as well. A new area has also appeared. A previously uninhabited island in the northeast section of the map has now become Risky Reels, the drive-in movie theater found in the Season 4 trailer. While having a new location to explore is always fun, many players used the empty area as a safe landing zone.
