It's no secret that Fortnite is popular. But now it's reached a new level of ultra-super-mega-popular. The well-known battle royale game has officially reached over 200 million users.
According to a report by Bloomberg, which Epic later confirmed, Fortnite has hit a record number of users. Having launched in September of last year, this is one of the fastest growing titles of all time. It's worth noting that this doesn't mean active users, but registered. I have a Fortnite account, but I've not used it since September of last year.
The game has an impressive number of active users as well. With a peak of 8.3 million users playing the game at the same time, it's significantly higher than DOTA 2's daily peak of 653,681 users.
Even now, Fortnite is more popular than ever.
