For WoW's 11th Anniversary, You Get a Free Meme Skin

It’s World of Warcraft’s 11 year anniversary is here celebrating six years of unrivaled success, two years of slightly stagnant dominance, and three years of slow decay towards an inevitable and painful death. But hey--that’s all anyone’s birthday is, so why not celebrate with some fine swag?

Now, during WoW’s tenth anniversary last year, Blizzard pulled out all the stops, updating old raids and giving players a chance to experience the ‘good old days’ of Vanilla WoW, but while this year is decidedly less impressive it’s still better than the standard reward handed out in years prior. Especially since they decided to throw some self-referential humor in there.

So, if you log in during the celebration, you’ll get a letter and a box. And while the letter is your standard celebratory text and show of gratitude towards fans, the box is special.
